EMPOWERING ABILITIES THROUGH INCLUSION
Imagine the crack of a bat connecting with a ball, the cheer of a crowd, and the smile of an athlete rounding the bases. Now picture a field where everyone—regardless of ability—can experience the magic of the game. This is the vision of the Rappahannock Miracle League (RML).
Our mission is simple: To create inclusive sports opportunities for athletes and families of the Rappahannock area and beyond—giving individuals with disabilities the chance to experience the joy of playing league sports.
THE RML ORIGIN STORY
The Rappahannock Miracle League was founded by Jada Fields and Courtney Bishop, to create opportunities for their son and stepson, Koby and his friends. After Koby graduated high school, they researched ways for him to connect with peers and stay active but found few options for individuals with disabilities.
Determined to make a positive change, they established the Rappahannock Miracle League so athletes of all abilities and ages could come together to play sports, form friendships, and enjoy team camaraderie.
The Rappahannock Miracle League is more than just sports—it's a community where everyone belongs. Inspired by their past involvement with the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand Miracle Leagues, RML is dedicated to bringing this inclusive program to the Rappahannock area and beyond.
Join us in stepping up to the plate to create a world where everyone gets a chance to play, cheer, and celebrate.
Because at the Rappahannock Miracle League, every player is a star, and every game is a home run for inclusion.
